Brian Walters is a self-taught artist based out of Fairfield County, CT. A staunch advocate for the trades, Walters is a former welder turned full-time artist, sculptor, and environmentalist. Currently, he has a series of six works ranging from very precise origami to abstract assemblages in his Urban Totem series. All of his work is constructed from locally sourced salvaged materials. His work has been featured in numerous highly regarded venues nationally, including the Mattatuck Museum, the New British Museum of American Art, and the Washington Art Association, among others.
